Yep, we're one of THOSE parents now.
We held out for a little while, figuring Asher was too young but this fall we decided to take the plunge on youth soccer. And three weeks in, he's actually had a good time. We're definitely not pegging him for future World Cup glories (or even MLS ones), but we certainly appreciate the exercise he's getting and the low-key nature of the league.
And he seems to like hanging out with his teammates. It helps when one of them is your best friend from preschool.
