For dinner we had carne asada on the grill outside, with all the traditional Easter trimmings: rice, beans and tortillas. Ed's mom made a traditional Easter dessert: Capirotada. It is like a really loaded up bread pudding....raisins, prunes, coconut, even garbanzo beans. After picking out the prunes, I really enjoyed it!

Wow, sounds like fun. And the dessert, interesting. I think I might have picked out the garbanzo beans and eaten the prunes.
The garbanzo beans actually just gave it texture, it really didn't mess with the taste at all. Sounds really odd though, huh?
The desert sounds really yummy! And after hearing your stories about the trip, I laughed and laughed seeing Lexi's little friend on the have-to-have-Easter jumping-castle! grin...
