Ed was issued a crackberry at work yesterday. I am not pleased. The lines between work and home are already blurred enough at our house (not that Ed isn't a devoted father and husband, but his job is demanding). With this newest leash, I mean, device....the lines are all but erased.
Oh Jen, I feel for you. This is the exact reason we don't plan on getting one. I hope you can find a happy medium.
ReplyDeleteOn the bright side, we won't be fighting over the laptop anymore since I can surf the Web on this device. But yeah, as a colleague put it yesterday: if you missed being tethered to something, the BlackBerry rectifies that.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. Todd has no control over checking that stupid little thing. Even on dates! Although now he tries to be more secretive about it.
ReplyDeletefrom the wife of a crackberry user, I feel your pain. I can't tell you how many times I have almost chucked it out the window of a moving car, or into the bushes, or the river.... anywhere that he wouldn't chase after it. but you know that crack is hard to beat. I am pretty sure there would be some chasing going on.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend whose husband checks it in the middle of the night (he has international offices) and that he texts right back no matter how asleep he is. i hope it doesnt get that bad for you. good luck.
